Crazy girl fell asleep while getting her hair cut! I ended up having to hold her head still so the girl could finish her cut!

Though it may be a style of her own!

At the mall: "MOM. I HAVE to tell Santa I NEED these glasses!" 

Thank goodness Santa brought them because she obviously needed them for bowling:

Around the house: (the bandaid is an accessory....not a necessity!):

And here is her big sister at the mall: "Mom! Look! I'm Momo!": 

Of course after Momo sees the pic she says, "MOM. I NEED ear muffs!" Reminder: We live in HAWAII. We don't need ear muffs or animals hats for that matter!


But....to an almost 5-year old it's all in the accessories!

Two days ago we celebrated my birthday by spending it at the beach. When we arrived this beautiful creature was waiting for us:

An endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal! Not to worry, he was okay. He was just basking in the sun and enjoying the beautiful day!

Here's a picture of him in the background. My kiddos were super stoked. (Oh who am I kidding? I was too!) What a special treat!

Can you make out the rainbow behind Kailani? You might not be able to....but look again....look really close! Change the angle of your screen or the position that you're sitting in.....it looks like the rainbow is shooting right through her back! We were at her school when we saw this rainbow, very close and very low to the ground. Of all times not to have my camera! I ended up taking this picture with my old school camera phone....
